A 2 ways of getting the resultant vector A

f GRAPHICAL METHOD f
1. To add vector B to vector A, first draw A on a piece of graphing paperto some scale, such as 1 cm=1 m, and so that its direction is specifiedrelative a coordinate system.
2. Then draw vector B to the same scale with the tail of B starting at the tip of A.
3. Vector B must be drawn along the direction that makesthe proper angle relative vector A.
4. The resultant vector R = A + B is the vector drawn from the tail of A to the tip of B.

y COMPONENT METHOD y
1. Consider a vector A in a rectangular coordinate system. A can be expressed as the sum of two vectors: Ax, parallel to the x-axis; and Ay, parallel to the y-axis.
2. From the definitions of sine and cosine, we see thatcos = Ax / A and sin = Ay / A, so the components of A are Ax = A cosand Ay sin. These components form two sides of a right triangle havinga hypotenuse with magnitude A.
3. To solve for the angle , which is measured from the positive x-axis by convection, we can write it in a form: = tan-1 ( Ay / Ax )

woah' "social"!!!.. printed layout for us to learn the lesson more easier!!.. =) wohoo!!.. i easily caught up w/ this lesson coz of the printed layout.. =)

==>another method in getting the resultant vector ,, the component method.. for me, this is easier than the graphical method coz it easier to breakdown the givens than in graphical method i sometimes got wrong measurements"eye defect" wahaha..

==>expect more harder lessons... this is just an introduction.. be ready.. wohooo!! =p

2nd lesson: vectors..
more easier than sohcahtoa!! i think its more easier coz we only used first the graphic method.. =] maybe when we go further about it maybe it will also be difficult..
we only discussed this lesson for 10-15 minutes because the other minutes are used for the discussion of our assignment in sohcahtoa.. =] but still, it was discussed well by our great teacher mr.mendoza.. =p

....atlast!! i'd finished it....

woah!! first meeting in physics class w/ mr. mendoza.. i was very excited because mr. mendoza was one of my crush in mascie =] hehe.. i was curious how a mr.moises teach lessons.. as expected 1st meeting is giving of requirements' notebook, book, rulers, nd specially our "future bestfried SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR"..
Yexpectations:
[x]the lessons will be difficult..because last year in physics class i get only grades of 85-87..because i can't easily catch the lesson taught by ms.bautista.. =]
[x]projects..amf,maybe the project will also be difficult..but ill try my best to make my projects be presentable.. =]
[x]the teacher..maybe mr.mendoza teach well, but i also expect he speaks so fast.. =]
Ygoal setting:
[x]to give my best in all aspects in the class and get a high grade.. =]
[x]be a good girl in the class.. =]
